Our Philanthropy


Founded in 1918, the Alpha-Xi Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha at the University of New Hampshire is the oldest continuously recognized fraternity by the university. Our main philanthropy, Feeding America, raises millions of pounds of food for many people who are food insecure in our state and country. Other local community service efforts include volunteer work at the University's Browne Center, Waysmeet, cleaning of Seabrook Beach each semester, and many other smaller projects throughout the semesters.

Food Drive

Every year around Thanksgiving, we send out a convoy of cars to Durham and Newmarket to collect cans and other non-perishables. Pumpkin Bust

Once a year in the fall we host a large event inviting the UNH community to form teams, and compete in pumpkin based challenges. All proceeds go to Feeding America. For more information about the Feeding America charity, click here. More
